Tapping For Anxiety + Inflammation + Stress

Feeling a bit overwhelmed?

Would you like a quick way to decrease some of your stress?

Introducing 🥁…..

Tapping or Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

This technique may help with:
✅ Decreasing emotional distress
✅ Decrease physical pain
✅ Increase body awareness
✅ Improving circulation and lymphatic drainage

So how does it work?

EFT tapping, lymphatic tapping, revival airdrie

Similar to acupuncture, tapping focuses on meridian points to help balance your body’s energy. Based on Chinese medicine, these meridian points help balance energy that flows through them in order to maintain health. With any imbalance there is a high chance of sickness or disease.

This technique does have one research backing showing a significant decrease is psychological stress for PTSD victims and individuals experiencing anxiety. More research is needed to compare effectiveness versus other conflictive therapy techniques.

1️⃣ Identify what issue or stressor you are struggling with

2️⃣Rate the intensity of your current physical and emotional discomfort from 0 to 10 with 10 being the worst

3️⃣Identify a phase that will help you to acknowledge the issues you’re experiencing and help you accept yourself despite the problem. “Even though I have [issue], I deeply and completely accept myself”

4️⃣Tapping areas. You do not have to tap at all of them if you want a shorter session.
EFT mainly uses the following 9:

⚪️Karate chop (KC): small intestine meridian
⚪️Top of head (TH): governing vessel
⚪️Eyebrow (EB): bladder meridian
⚪️Side of the eye (SE): gallbladder meridian
⚪️Under the eye (UE): stomach meridian
⚪️Under the nose (UN): governing vessel
⚪️Chin (Ch): central vessel
⚪️Beginning of the collarbone (CB): kidney meridian
⚪️Under the arm (UA): spleen meridian

5️⃣ Re-evaluate intensity of discomfort 0-10

Consult with your doctor and health care practitioner if you experiencing pain, anxiety or other psychological distress. You don’t have to do this alone❤️
